Description

This old Tibetan painted door is a striking piece of wall art featuring playful frolicking yaks. It is around 90 years old and was likely made in Nepal in the 1930's overlaying painted canvas onto wooden doors.

This door panel features yaks surrounded by The Eight Spoked Wheel, Knot of Eternity, The Vase of Great Treasures, The Two Golden Fish, The White Conch Shell, The Precious Parasol and the Jewels of Tibet. In Buddhist mythology, these items bring good luck, protection and good fortune.

Supplied with wall hangers.
