Delivery & Availability

Our range of flexible delivery options are designed to suit your schedule. We'll always contact you to arrange your delivery and find a mutually acceptable delivery date. 


All our items are available for UK wide delivery. We also offer international delivery of items with a Price on Application (POA) basis. You will be able to complete your order online and we will contact you with delivery costs by email. 

COVID19 outbreak: We will continue to sell through our Online Store. However, our showroom is now CLOSED for the safety of our customers & staff.

 

All items listed on our online shop are in stock in our UK warehouse in Wiltshire. 

Due to the ever-changing Coronavirus situation, there will be some small changes to delivery. See our "COVID-19 adjustments" section for further information. Generally, delivery timescales have not changed and in some cases, may be quicker than usual. Our couriers are continuing to work hard keeping Britain connected.

COVID-19 adjustments

Smaller items will continue to be sent through DPD & the postal service and delivery will be within 1 week of purchase. This is a door to door service and all delivery drivers are observing social distancing.


Please be aware that larger items such as furniture will be subject to delivery service availability and whilst there may not be any interruption to the normal service, delivery timings could be a little longer than usual. 


We're taking the following measures for all furniture deliveries:

- Drivers will be equipped with gloves, masks & hand sanitiser where required.

- Where possible a 2 meter distance is kept from customers and fellow team mates.

- If you'd prefer zero contact a "To Door" drop off can be arranged.

Delivery types

Parcel & Courier Deliveries

To ensure your purchase arrives safely to your door, smaller lightweight items will be sent through safest and most cost effective service to our customers. This is usually either DPD or the UK postal service and delivery is usually within 2 -5 working days of purchase. This is a door to door service and we will send tracking information to you by email with every order.


Parcel & courier items are delivered Monday to Saturday and take 2-5 working days from despatch from us. Pricing ranges from £4.95 to £20 depending on the service used. See the chart above for further details.


For some particularly large or fragile pieces, we reserve the right to upgrade your delivery service to furniture delivery for no extra charge. This service guarantees your purchase arrives safely, however it can take up to 2 weeks for delivery due to the nature of the delivery type. See "Furniture Deliveries" for further details.


- All goods must be signed for at the time of delivery. 

- Any damage to the packaging must be noted at the time of delivery. 

- If there is any damage to the contents Indigo should be informed within 24 hours of delivery.


In the unlikely event or damage or you wish to return your order, you can either refuse it at point of delivery or contact within 48 hours to arrange collection. 


Return of your order for any reason other than damage will incur a collection charge.

Collection Of Items From Our Warehouse

If you'd prefer to collect your order from us, we offer a simple and FREE COLLECTION SERVICE. Please continue to checkout online and we'll refund all delivery charges to you once you've notified us of your intent to collect. 


Our warehouse and showroom is open Monday to Saturday 9am - 5pm (10am - 4pm on Saturday.) Please notify us 48 hours before collection so we can ensure your order is ready for collection.

Furniture Deliveries

Our furniture, architecture and other bulky items are delivered by our trusted third party delivery teams. We have a core of delivery providers whom we have been working with for many years. Our main furniture delivery partner is Martin Brothers Removals. 


Furniture deliveries are charged at either £40 or £80 - We deliver Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm and we'll  ALWAYS contact you to arrange the delivery. You will be able to change your date should the given date not be appropriate. On the day of delivery, our drivers will usually keep you updated by phone on their status with a call when they're around 1 hour away. 


On the day, your order will be delivered to your room of choice (up to and including 2nd floor ) with removal of any packaging. If you require a more complicated delivery, please let us know before collection. 


Our deliveries usually take place without a problem but do require our customers to follow some simple rules:


- It is up to you to check your property for access before you arrange delivery. Customers will be liable for any call out charges relating to an order not fitting into their property. 

- Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery if a change of date or cancellation is required. Failure to do so will incur a cancellation charge at cost price. 

- In the unlikely event or damage or you wish to return your order, you can either refuse it at point of delivery or contact within 48 hours to arrange collection. 

- All goods must be signed for at the time of delivery.

Please note that you will not be contacted to arrange delivery until after your order has been collected from our warehouse.

ROI & Northern Ireland Deliveries

For parcel & courier items there should be very little difference in delivery time frames or price for delivery to Ireland. 


For larger and bulky items such as furniture, we have a dedicated furniture delivery team visiting Ireland every other week. Deliveries are charged at cost price and depending on the item in question are around £200. 


Purchase of larger items and furniture for delivery to Ireland is currently only available by telephone and not on our website at present. Orders can be placed by phone or email. Please contact us for a quote before placing your order.

Out of area postcodes

For parcel & courier items there should be very little difference in delivery time frames or price for delivery to Highlands, Islands and other "Out of Area" postcodes.


Checkout of furniture items for delivery to Highlands, Islands & other "Out of Area" postcodes is currently available on our website, however additional delivery charges may be applicable. Please contact us for a quote before placing your order.

RETURNS

It's rare that our customers choose to return or exchange an item, but should you choose to return your order, we are happy to provide a full refund excluding delivery charges. 

Returns

All items returned to Indigo Antiques must be in a fully resalable condition. Please contact our team on  01672 564722 or enquiries@indigo-uk.com within 14 days of receipt to arrange your return. 


For larger and bulky items such as furniture, we will arrange the collection from you for a mutually beneficial date. 


For smaller courier items, you can return the items to us (return postage will need to be covered by the customer) or we can arrange a collection. Upon receipt of your return, your order will be refunded minus the collection charge. 


Should your item not be returned in a fully saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or deduct up to 50% of the original price from the refund amount.

Faulty / Damaged Items

In the event that your order arrives damaged, please let us know within 48 hours and we can either arrange for one of our restoration team to visit you and carry out the repair or for a collection by our team. 


In some cases, repairs can't be carried out in the property and will need to be collected and redelivered.
