Our Indian Textiles Collection showcases the breadth of Asia’s woven and embroidered traditions, from handloom cottons and ikat sarongs to wool throws and woven scarves of remarkable character. Each textile reflects the artistry of the region it comes from — Bengal, Kashmir, Rajasthan, Indonesia, or Inner Mongolia — and the enduring value of handcraft.

Among the highlights are handspun ikats and shawls from Indonesia, woollen herringbone and zigzag throws from Kashmir, and cotton bedcovers and block-printed textiles from India. Many are woven on traditional pit looms or dyed with natural pigments, bringing depth, tactility, and softness that only hand-made fabric can achieve.
