A striking piece of wall art - Tibetan Dragon Door Panel with Original Paint 75- 100Yrs Old

This door panel features a dragon in flight snaking through clouds and is also surrounded by various symbols of Tibetan Buddhism.

These include The Eight Spoked Wheel, Knot of Eternity, The Vase of Great Treasures, The Two Golden Fish, The White Conch Shell, The Precious Parasol and the Jewels of Tibet. In Buddhist mythology, all of these items are supposed to bring good luck, protection and good fortune.

The panels would have originally been a door to either a temple or monastery. They are created by overlaying painted canvas onto wooden doors.
