Bleached Elm Doors From Shanxi - 19th Century

These 19^th century Chinese doors are impressive, both aesthetically and structurally. Crafted from robust northern elm wood (yumu) which has bleached over many years of direct sunlight.  These doors are reclaimed from buildings in Shanxi. These doors are monumental with heavy iron bindings, they are a stunning addition to any home or collection.

We can provide assembly advice to your builders. Was can also assist you with choosing the right hinges and supply them at a small extra cost. 

These two doors are designed to open centrally, however, can be customised to work on a sliding system.
