Chinese Porcelain

Explore our curated collection of Chinese porcelain — a celebration of craftsmanship, elegance, and tradition. Each piece is made in Jingdezhen, the world’s porcelain capital, where artisans have refined their techniques for over a thousand years. Hand-thrown, hand-glazed, and hand-painted, these porcelains embody a living heritage of design and artistry.

The majority of our porcelain pieces are contemporary works created using time-honoured methods. Every jar and vase is crafted in the traditional way on the potter’s wheel, then painted by hand with cobalt, copper, and iron-based pigments before firing. The result is a range of decorative ceramics that balance historical character with refined modern appeal.

    Chinese Porcelain by Colour

Our collection showcases the full spectrum of China’s porcelain tradition — from serene blue and white porcelain to luminous celadon glazes and the deep reds of sang de boeuf and flambé glaze vases. Collectors will also find the delicate palette of famille rose and wucai porcelain, both celebrated for their intricate brushwork and layered overglaze colours.

Each piece, whether a simple celadon bottle vase or a richly patterned dragon jar, reflects the precision and patience of Jingdezhen’s artisans — porcelain made with museum-grade craftsmanship yet designed for contemporary interiors.

    Chinese Porcelain by Shape

From grand temple jars and ginger jars to elegant meiping vases and yuhuchunping “trumpet” vases, each form serves both function and beauty. The collection also includes wine jars, and tea caddies, alongside smaller decorative brush pots and grand fish bowl planters.

Each shape carries centuries of symbolism — from vessels associated with prosperity and longevity to jars traditionally gifted as tokens of good fortune. These timeless silhouettes remain as striking today as they were in dynastic China.

    Contemporary Craftsmanship, Traditional Technique

Every piece in our porcelain collection is made by hand in small workshops in Jingdezhen, where potters and painters continue to honour the same methods that defined Chinese ceramics through the Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties. While these are modern creations, their making relies on traditional glazes, wood-fired kilns, and the distinctive Jingdezhen clay that gives Chinese porcelain its translucent strength.

Designed for both collectors and decorators, our Chinese porcelain brings the quiet refinement of classic forms into today’s interiors — a bridge between history, artistry, and contemporary design.
