This antique Indian apothecary chest would have been used to store herbs and other items used as medicinal remedies. Also known as medicine cabinets they come with many small individual compartments. it is a real interior statement piece. 

Constructed from teak wood - this piece has a large area at the top ideal for displaying ornaments and trinkets.

This particular cabinet comes with a multitude of drawers and has its original blue paintwork which has aged and worn away in places
