This painted teak window shutter from Rajasthan dates from the 1920's and has been recently repainted in the 21st century in the traditional Rajasthani style.

Colourful floral patterns sit on a deep red background. The paintwork has diminished in places giving a pleasing rustic effect. A beautifully carved central column runs down the middle and is also painted in bright colours. Perfect for a pleasing piece of wall art.
