A 19th Nepalese bronze figure of a Bodhisattva, possibly an emanation of Avalokiteshvara, with down cast eyes and a serene expression wearing an elaborate headdress, large earrings and other beaded jewelry, seated in the the cross-legged lotus position on a single lotus base, the right hand positioned in Varada Mudra expressing compassion and the left hand in Karana mudra to warn of evil.
