A statue of the Tibetan goddess Tara in silver plated bronze. Tara, known as Jetsun Dolma in Tibetan Buddhism, is a female Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism. Known as the mother of liberation, she represents the virtues of success in work and achievements. Tara is also known as Tara Bosatsu in Japan and occasionally as Duoluo Pusa in Chinese Buddhism.
