These three Gujarati carved wooden figures date from the early 20th century and beautifully capture the expressive folk artistry of western India. Each figure is individually hand-carved from aged hardwood, showing distinct postures, stylised facial features, and traditional headwraps. Weathered surfaces, softened edges, and traces of old pigments speak to their long life and use, giving them an evocative presence.

Originally created as household or shrine figures, they would have been displayed for protection or blessing. Today, they are mounted on a new custom wooden stand, allowing them to be appreciated sculpturally as a unified trio. Their varied forms and characterful expressions make them an excellent decorative accent for shelves, consoles, or display cabinets.
