This floor standing mirror is made from an 18th century Indian door frame from Saurashtra as indicated by the style of carving. Constructed from solid teak wood with remnants of original painting it is a truly impressive centerpiece for any room.

Two beautifully carved elephants sit atop the lintel. The door frame dates to the 18th century and has been adapted and fitted with modern mirror glass.

Antique Indian door frames like this are reclaimed from derelict buildings in Rajasthan & Gujarat. Sadly these buildings are beyond restoration having been subjected to years of decay. We are preserving these treasures for future generations.

This mirror is designed to be hung portrait or used as a leaner mirror.
