This beautiful mirror is made from an old Indian window frame dating to the 19th century, hand-carved from solid teak. It features a classic mihrab arch with elegant scalloped curves, flanked by scroll-like side brackets and a carved geometric panel at the base. The frame retains a soft, patchy blue paint finish, distressed over time to reveal layers of history and the warm tones of the natural wood beneath.
Adapted with modern mirror glass, this piece perfectly balances traditional Indian craftsmanship with timeless appeal. The weathered surface and intricate carving bring texture, colour, and heritage to any interior, making it a captivating architectural statement.
