This characterful 19th century Indian teak cabinet is a wonderfully rustic display piece, showcasing the beauty of aged timber and traditional craftsmanship. The exterior retains traces of a later lime-washed finish, softly worn back over time to reveal the rich tones and grain of the teak beneath. The simple, architectural form is complemented by glazed panel doors, allowing the contents to be displayed while remaining protected.
Internally, the cabinet is fitted with three shelves, offering practical storage for kitchenware, books, or decorative objects. The natural patina to the interior wood adds depth and authenticity, making this a versatile piece that works equally well as a kitchen cabinet or display cupboard.
