Japanese Stone Snow Lantern - Tall Ishi Doro

Hand carved from solid stone, this Japanese-style ishi-doro snow lantern is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. These traditional lanterns are known in Japan as tōrō. When carved from stone they are called ishi-dōrō, meaning stone lantern.

Frost hardy to approximately -20°C, the lantern has a central interior shaft for wiring a light fitting. It is delivered in six separate sections for easy transport and assembly.

The pieces can sit freely under their own weight, although we recommend using a small amount of grey waterproof tile cement in busier areas.
