A pair of 19th century Indo-Persian wrought iron stirrups with silver damascened decoration, having rectangular treads the triangular tapering sides, all over decorated with stylised floral and foliate work. Damascene work is the art of inlaying precious metals into other metals. The process was famously perfected in Syria.

The base design varies between stirrups, likely to identify the left and right stirrups.
