Made from riveted iron from Punjab, our beautiful painted pots have been upcycled and decorated in traditional Rajasthani designs. These hand painted pots are a great stand alone piece, they can be used as a vase or even turned into a lamp.

Historically the most important piece of equipment for each household throughout Asia and many other countries are family water pots. In India, they are known as, 'matki'.
They have been used for many generations to collect water from the rivers or village wells.

These pots are most iconically known for being balanced very elegantly on the heads of mostly women, or sometimes children. It's one of their daily chores, collecting the water and chattering along the way with friends and neighbours.
