This beautifully carved Indian harpa box is made from hand carved teak wood. It's from the border areas of Southern Rajasthan and Northern Gujarat. Harpa boxes were multifunctional and often used as spice or masala boxes. They were also used for lime or betel-nut storage and occasionally used in the markets as a cashbox.
