These bronze Buddha statues are hand made using techniques handed down through the generations. Cast over a mould of clay and wax, once cooled, the statue is then painstakingly polished.
These seated Buddhas are in the pose of Vitarka Mudra where the tips of the thumb and index finger are touching to form a circle. This symbolises the eternal flow of energy and is indicative of the teaching phase of Buddha's life.
