This beautiful, sleek Chinese black glazed vase vessel was used for the storage of liquids and foods such as wine, vinegar, oils and eggs. Nowadays you could use it as a vase or planter for indoor plants. Handmade and hand glazed, the black glaze is iridescent and shimmers in the light. These jars were from Hebei and date to the 19th century.
This jar is very useful and can can hold, kitchen utensils, paint brushes, dried flowers and more, or just use as a decorative sculptural object.
