Practical and decorative - This grain measure is made from a solid piece of Jackfruit wood carved out by hand. The iron decoration is also hand forged.

Grain measures were used in markets for measuring wheat, corn, rice and pulses. In the old days the Indian measures were Seers & Pattis

Today this would make a fantastic plant pot or wastepaper bin.
