This Indian colonial linen cupboard was custom made for a wealthy merchant back in the 19th century. It clearly shows western influences which were most likely from Portugal or England. Made from luxurious golden teak wood, the highest quality Indian teak wood.

Originally this piece would probably have been painted multiple times over its lifetime however it's been painstakingly restored to its original condition whist retaining a beautiful patina with a wax finish to protect the cabinet. There are two shelves and two drawers.
