This original Chinese cabinet from Gansu province is made from walnut and dates to the 19th century. With 2 drawers and an internal shelf, this is a very functional piece of furniture.

It has its original brass hardware and a beautiful rich patina.

A similar example can be found on page 202 of "Chinese Furniture: A Guide to collecting antiques" by Mazurkewich (Fig. 533).
