Woodblock print by artist Nishikawa Sukenobu (1671-1750) entitled 'Visit to the Garden'. The original woodblock was printed in the Edo period (1603 - 1868). This is likely a later print from the Showa era (1926 - 1989).

Sukenobu was unusual as a ukiyo-e artist as he was based in Kyoto, not Edo (modern-day Tokyo). He was famed for his works concerning the beauty of women.

This old print has been reframed by our skilled team in a simple matte black wood frame.

Print Size: 32 x 19.5 (wxh cms)
