These old oxen plough handles from Indonesia have been mounted on a modern stand to create unique decorative pieces. Each handle was once part of a working agricultural tool, used for guiding a wooden plough behind a team of oxen. Decades of use have given the hardwood a rich patina, highlighting the smooth curves and functional shaping that evolved through long practical use.
Retaining their original tool marks and natural wear, they offer both sculptural presence and historical interest. Whether displayed alone or as part of a larger arrangement, they bring a tactile link to traditional Asian farming life.
A distinctive piece of agricultural heritage, repurposed for display.
