These milk pots come from the Kulu valley in Himachal Pradesh. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes. This one has a spout and a pleasing age to the wood showing it's had a long life of practical use.

This one is at least 70 years old and is in excellent condition. It would make a great flower pot, desk tidy or a stand alone decorative ornament.
