This rustic Anglo-Indian teak shelf dates from the 1930s, during the final decades of the British Raj. Simple, sturdy, and practical, it still retains much of its original soft brown-green paint, beautifully distressed over time to reveal the deep warmth of the teak beneath. With its open slatted shelves and upright frame, it embodies utilitarian charm while offering versatile storage for contemporary living.

Ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, or garden rooms, this piece fits effortlessly into both minimalist and eclectic interiors. Despite being nearly a century old, it remains remarkably solid€”a testament to the quality of its materials and traditional joinery.
