These antique Chinese wooden baskets were used by traders for taking their goods to the market to sell, and for measuring rice. They would also be used by farmers for moving goods around on the farm.

This trug is at least 100 years old and has seen a lot of practical use in its time. It's had a few repairs which we think adds tons of character and is still very much usable today which is a testament to its design and craftsmanship.
