These old Indian pots were previously used as milk churns. They were made in the 1940's in the Kullu valley, which is famous for its huge deodar trees which are a variety of cedar.
They're skillfully made from single pieces of turned wood and would have been essential day to day items in people's lives. The ring lines from the turning process make these truly unique items.
