Carved Teak Bowl From Banswara - Rajasthan - 19thC
Useful and decorative - Paraths were used as mixing bowls for making chapatti and paratha - They are found all over India. The wooden paraths are carved from a single piece of timber and are usually made from teak or acacia wood - our parath bowls are mostly 19thC or late 20thC and have wonderful patina which comes from frequent use over many years.
