These 19th-century Indian dog gates from Gujarat would have been used in front of the main entrance door of Gujarati Havelis to keep animals out. This one is made from teak wood and iron.

They make very interesting & decorative garden gates & are suitable for outdoor use as well as unique pieces of wall art. This particular piece has layers of old paint as well as a smooth patina giving a 'distressed' aged feel.
