This tall antique glazed Regency style cabinet is an Indian book cabinet and dates to the 1920's. Indian book cabinets were mostly influenced by the Western presence of the Portuguese and British. This one is made from teak wood and is likely from the Indian state of Gujarat. They were used in offices and homes for storing books and files.
