Known as a Spring bench, these pretty benches used to be seen outside shops and small restaurants in China and used by both staff and customers to enjoy the fresh air. Constructed from Elm, this one is from Shanxi Province. Carved with a beautiful cloud motif - 19thC
Please note that the legs of all these benches are splayed.
