Reclaimed Teak Side Cabinet With Old Carvings

This beautifully crafted reclaimed teak side cabinet combines traditional Indian carving with practical modern craftsmanship. Although not an antique, it has been made using reclaimed teak salvaged from old buildings in Rajasthan and Gujarat, giving it character, history and a wonderfully textured surface. The softly distressed painted finish enhances the natural grain of the wood while highlighting the intricate hand-carved panels to the doors and drawers.

The façade features a patchwork of carved motifs — floral forms, scrolling foliage and geometric detailing — framed within a simple architectural structure. Two drawers sit neatly above a double-door cupboard, each with carved fronts and metal ring pulls. Inside, the cabinet offers generous storage space with a removable internal shelf, making it both decorative and highly functional.

Extremely durable and environmentally conscious in its use of reclaimed materials, this piece works beautifully as a bedside cabinet, hallway cupboard or compact sideboard.
