This console table has been lovingly constructed from reclaimed teak from old Indian buildings that have fallen into a state of disrepair. The legs are repurposed old teak pillars whilst the carved panel is from an old Gujarati door lintel and features a resplendent Ganesh at the centre flanked by attendants . Ganesh is the remover of obstacles and blesses every home to make the day to day lives of occupants easier. This table a finished with a 'distressed' painted finish to bring it together.
With each carving completely unique, this console table is truly one of a kind. Each piece of wood dates back to the 19th century. It is decorative, extremely durable, and environmentally friendly.
