Bedside Cabinet Made From Reclaimed Teak

This decorative cabinet is handcrafted from reclaimed teak and features beautifully carved antique-style panels set within a solid reclaimed teak frame. Although not an antique, the materials themselves have been salvaged from old buildings in Rajasthan and Gujarat, giving the piece genuine character and depth. The timber displays a softly weathered surface with traces of old paint and natural tonal variation, reflecting its previous life.

The single front door is centred with a geometric carved panel incorporating a stylised floral motif, framed by layered mouldings. An iron ring handle and simple hardware complement the rustic aesthetic. Inside, the cabinet is fitted with a fixed internal shelf, providing practical storage while maintaining a compact footprint.

Both decorative and highly functional, this cabinet combines traditional Indian craftsmanship with sustainable design. The reclaimed teak construction makes it extremely durable and environmentally friendly, while its neutral, distressed finish allows it to sit comfortably in country, coastal, or eclectic interiors.
