This Chinese porcelain temple jar is also known as a rice jar. The orange glaze is a classic Kangxi design and here depicts bats among flowers.

This pot is hand made on the potters wheel in the traditional way. It is then decorated before firing. Porcelain is steeped in centuries of Chinese culture and history.
