These particular pieces have a cracked ice shelf at the base, usually a mark of quality. They also feature a useful drawer that seamlessly blends in with the overall design. 

As the name suggests - Flower stands were used with vases of flowers and were originally made in pairs. These make great lamp tables and are very functional pieces in a small apartment, used behind a sofa or in pairs each side of a mantelpiece. (More may be available in our Wiltshire showroom).

Red Elm, also known as zelkova or southern elm (jumu) is considered superior to it's northern elm (yumu) cousin as it has a more refined grain structure.
