This exquisite Indian window jharokha is from Dungarpur. The four vividly painted figures have a distinctly European appearance, as Europeans were often portrayed wearing hats. The figures are holding gulabpash, rosewater sprinklers, used to cool and refresh. The aged paint and repeating designs add depth and character to this exceptional piece. Windows like this are now rare to find in such excellent condition.
