This characterful mirror has been created from an original 19th-century carved teak window sourced from India. Its standout feature is the elegant Mughal arch, with its scalloped cusps and graceful inward curves—an architectural form long associated with Rajasthani havelis and North Indian palace design. The natural weathering of the old teak brings out a beautiful grain pattern and soft, timeworn patina.

The frame is notably deep, retaining the full architectural thickness of the original window. This gives the mirror a sculptural presence on the wall and creates a subtle shadow play within the arched opening. Fitted with modern mirror glass, it blends historic craftsmanship with contemporary usability, while the use of reclaimed materials makes it an environmentally thoughtful choice.
