This painted low TV unit is painted in the Mongolian style and made from reclaimed pine wood. It is styled around the classic Chinese 'kang' low cabinet design. These were used beside the kang which was a raised platform used as a bed or lounging area in wealthy homes. Often made from stone which was heated from underneath in the winter.
