This black painted elm Chinese kang table is from Shanxi province and dates from the mid 19th century. The original black lacquer & painting still remains and there's a handy drawer in the front. These make great tables for the end of a bed or in front of a T.V or stereo system used behind a sofa or as a coffee table.
