This Indian mortar comes from Rajasthan, it was used for pounding millet the staple food of the region. It is carved from a single piece of teak wood and was made in the 19th century. It would be most suited as a plant stand for your favourite crawler.
Passed down the family from one generation to another, it is now beautifully patinated by years of continual use.
This can be used as a side table with a glass top. A 5mm toughened glass top can be supplied at an additional charge.
