This carved teak mirror is crafted from an old window from the historic Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, this characterful mirror beautifully showcases the artistry of traditional North Indian woodcarving with delicate lacquer beading round the frame. Made from roheda wood, often referred to as desert teak for its durability and rich grain, the frame is adorned with finely hand-carved foliate borders, scrolling vine motifs and geometric detailing that reflect the Mughal-influenced decorative traditions for which Shekhawati is renowned.
Its elegant proportions and understated decorative detail allow it to complement both traditional and modern settings, making it an attractive and environmentally conscious statement piece.
