This elegant carved window mirror from Haryana dates to the 18th century and beautifully preserves the architectural grace of old North Indian design. Originally part of a traditional window frame, it has been thoughtfully converted into a striking wall mirror, with its classic Mughal arch and deep hand-carved detailing giving it both presence and refinement. The slender proportions make it especially effective in a hallway, dressing area, or any space where a tall decorative mirror can add depth and character.
Over more than two centuries, the timber has acquired a wonderfully soft patina, with traces of old pitch still visible in parts of the carving, enhancing the texture and sense of age. The lower pierced panel adds further interest and reflects the craftsmanship of the original piece. Supplied with sturdy hangers on the reverse, it is ready to hang and enjoy.
