This floor standing mirror is made from a 19th century Indian door frame from Saurashtra as indicated by the style of painting and naive carving.

Constructed from solid teak wood with remnants of original painting it is a truly impressive centerpiece for any room. The wise Ganesh, the Hindu elephant god is carved in the center of the lintel. He is an auspicious figure who removes the obstacles that get in the way of daily progress.

A truly unique piece.
