This old Indian dough mixing bowl has developed a wonderful patina over the years, and its smooth but highly textured finish gives it an ornamental look. It is crafted from a single piece of jackfruit wood, dates to the 19th century, and is from Kerala in South India. It is still perfectly usable as practical kitchenware or a unique ornamental fruit bowl.
