This elegant mirror was once a window frame from a wealthy haveli in Madhya Pradesh, Northern India. Hand-carved from solid teak, it features a classic Mughal mihrab arch framed by finely detailed floral carving and small carved parrots — a symbol of love and devotion in Indian art. The soft layers of cream and faded paint reveal traces of its original finish, giving the piece a gentle, timeworn charm.
At nearly two centuries old, the teak has acquired a rich patina, adding warmth and authenticity. Now converted into a mirror, this rare architectural fragment offers both history and beauty — perfect as a statement wall piece or hallway mirror. Supplied with sturdy metal hangers on the back and hanging advice available on request.
