This beautifully carved teak window from Madhya Pradesh has been transformed into a unique mirror that would make a stunning addition to any room in your home. The quality of carving is particularly excellent and of a quality that is becoming difficult to source.
Once the ornate window frame of a wealthy haveli in Madhya Pradesh, it features a classic Mughal mihrab arch, a hallmark of Indo-Islamic design, flanked by floral motifs and delicate geometric details. The intricate jali (lattice) panel at the top adds both beauty and architectural authenticity.
With nearly two centuries of age, the teak has acquired a rich patina. Whether displayed in a hallway, bedroom, or living area, this mirror transforms any space with its sculptural presence and cultural depth.
