Painted Waste Paper Bin / Planter

These colourful hand-painted waste paper bins are made in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, using old iron drums that have been recycled and given a new decorative life. Inspired by the bold floral decoration associated with Rajasthani and Pichwai painting, each bin is painted by hand with intricate flowers, foliage and traditional decorative borders.

Practical as well as decorative, they are ideal for use as a waste paper bin in a home office, bedroom or living space. Recycling the original iron drums also makes them an environmentally friendly choice, transforming an existing material into a useful and individual piece for the home.

There are four different designs available: Red Lotus, Green Lotus, Rajasthani Red and Rajasthani Green. Each has its own hand-painted decoration and a contrasting black-painted interior. As these pieces are individually painted by hand, small variations in colour, pattern and finish should be expected.
